   • Ingredients: Salay-salay fish, tamarind powder, salt, pepper, shallots, garlic, ginger, and banana leaves.
   • Method: Season the fish with tamarind powder, salt, and pepper. Wrap it in banana leaves along with shallots, garlic, and ginger. Slow-cook the wrapped fish in a pot until it’s tender and flavorful.

2. Pangat na Salay-Salay sa Calamansi:

   • Ingredients: Salay-salay fish, calamansi juice, tomatoes, and other seasonings.
   • Method: Cook the fish in a broth with calamansi juice and tomatoes. This method highlights the fish's fresh, natural taste.

Storage Tips:

• Refrigeration: Store fresh salary in the refrigerator if you plan to use it within a day or two. Otherwise, keep it in an airtight container or wrap it tightly in plastic wrap.
• Freezing: To store the fish longer, freeze it. Place it in a freezer-safe bag, removing as much air as possible before sealing. It can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.
