Each Buffon No.7 Glacier frame is individually painted using the ancient art of hand marbling making every one completely unique. The Giclée reprint is from our large collection of original prints from ‘Buffon’s Complete Works’. Georges-Louis Leclerc, Comte de Buffon was one of the most noted and celebrated naturalists of his time. Each of the original 1816 illustrations was printed and then hand painted in water colour in Spitalfields, London.

Our current collection includes 19 prints from ‘Buffon’s Complete Works’. The full collection is available in both Igneus and Glacier colourways. Buffon No.7 is also available in Igneus.
