After installation, inspect the perimeter where the trunk meets the rear body panel. Use automotive-grade weatherstripping or sealant along any gap to prevent water intrusion and debris buildup.

Will the finish yellow in the sun?

Bare carbon fiber is susceptible to UV yellowing without protection. A clear coat applied during installation acts as a shield. Periodic washing and a UV-blocking wax or sealant will maintain the finish long-term.
