Introducing the Proficient Audio LDA5 Protege 5-Inch 30W Bookshelf Speaker, Pair
With the rising popularity of object-based audio systems such as Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro 3D, the new Proficient line introduces a speaker tailored to deliver authentic, immersive, and “overhead” or “height” effects associated with these technologies. This solution is compatible with the LFS6 floor-standing speaker or LB62 bookshelf speaker, offering the option for wall mounting near the ceiling to achieve the desired “height” effects.

Our Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers create compelling Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound through audio reflection off the ceiling. The LDA5 model features a slanted speaker baffle, 5” graphite woofers, 1” silk dome tweeters, and a 60-watt power capacity. It boasts an elegant matte black finish, detachable black grilles with neo-magnets, and integrated flush-mounted single-slot wall mounts. Designed to sit on top of LFS6 or LB62 speakers or be wall-mounted just below the ceiling.
