Gold Drops

Ingredients:
Aconitum D6, Arnica D3, Aurum chlorat. D6, Cactus D4, Digitalis D3, Ignatia D6, Laurocerasus D3, Spigelia D3, Valeriana D2, Crataegus Ø, Kalium phosphoricum D4

Indications:
Organic and functional affections of the heart:
• Arrhythmia
• Tachycardia
• Extrasystoles
• Constrictions
• Angina pectoris
• Coronary insufficiencies
• Strong pulse, palpitations, excitations

Mode of Action:
• Aconitum: Cardiac neurosis with anguish and agitation; strong pulse
• Arnica: Painful sensation in the heart; nervous heart trouble
• Aurum chloratum: Acts on myocardium, aorta, and coronary artery; precordial pains
• Cactus: Sensation of suffocation, strong pulse, oppression; angina pectoris
• Crataegus: Excellent tonic for heart and blood circulation; myocardial weakness and hypotonia
• Digitalis: Heart tonic in case of cardiac weakness
• Ignatia: Nervous sensations of the heart, mainly from emotional causes (anxiety, restlessness); general nervous irritation and sleeplessness
• Kalium phosphoricum: General nervous exhaustion, anaemia, myocardial weakness, conduction disturbances
• Laurocerasus: Cyanosis with myocardial insufficiency; pressure and pain in the chest
• Spigelia: Strong and abnormal pulsations; pain extending down the left arm
• Valeriana: Nervous agitation, hypersensitivity; functional cardiac disorders; strong pulse; cardiac nervousness

Dosage:
Depending on severity:
3–6 times daily, 10–15 drops in water.
In acute cardiac affections: 10–15 drops every ¼–½ hour until improvement sets in.

Remarks:
• Myocardial insufficiencies (light to medium): use R3
• Gastro-cardiac symptoms: use R5, 1–3 times a day, 10–15 drops before or after meals
• Cardiac arrhythmias: use R66 or R22
• Acute myocardial infarct: alternate every ½–1–2 hours 10–15 drops of R2, R67, and R55
• Follow-up treatment: R3, also R44
