If your Genesis  grill uses a battery powered igniter and the control knobs are mounted on the right hand side table you will need to purchase the replacement kit

Fits: Spirit® (2007-2008 model years), Genesis® Silver A & B (2002-2004 model years), Genesis® Silver C (2002-2003 model years), Genesis® Gold B (2002-2004 model years), and Genesis® Gold C (2002-2003 model years) gas grills. Note: If your Genesis® Silver C or Genesis® Gold C model grill has a single igniter that lights the main grill as well as the side burner, this igniter will not work.
