Maduro’s sweet and creamy flavours are owed 40% to the wrapper alone, which was fermented for an impressive 16 months. Compared to leaves from other grades, the fermentation of the Maduro wrapper takes double the amount of time, because the perfect leaf for a Maduro cigar is one from the top of the plant, where it gets the most sunshine and is therefore quite thick.

The sweetness of dark chocolate in the first third and honey in the second third are key players in this delightful experience. The addition of roasted nuts in the final third completes this typical Maduro taste experience.

The Davidoff Maduro comes in three popular formats: The bigger Toro and Robusto, and the smaller Short Corona for when time is limited. Each format delivers a slightly different taste journey and offers aficionados the perfect choice for any occasion.

All cigars wear a distinctive black second band with gold-foiled elements and come in an elegant 20-ct wooden box with a loose lid. The satin- lacquered box finish underpins the super-premium positioning of this beautiful limited release line.
